1 Introduction Chronic liver disease (CLD) encompasses a range of liver disorders that can result from external factors such as viruses and toxins, as well as genetic predispositions [1]. All causes of CLD may develop liver fibrosis, an excessive accumulation of collagen and other extracellular matrix proteins, in response to ongoing inflammation or injury [1].

The assessment of liver mechanical properties through magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) plays a role in understanding liver health and the effectiveness of treatments.1-3 Prior work indicates that a mere 1-kPa increase in liver stiffness corresponds to a 4% increase in the likelihood of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC),2 along with a 16.3% rise in the risk of tumor recurrence after resection.
