La Copa África ya tiene sus grupos configurados. 24 equipos lucharán en Marruecos por ser el nuevo campeón continental, corona que ahora mismo ostenta la selección de Costa de Marfil, con el título logrado en 2023. Marruecos acogerá un torneo que comenzará en un año y terminará en otro. Y es que, en esta ocasión, la Copa África se jugará entre el 21 de diciembre de 2025 y el 18 de enero de 2026.

The draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has been formalised, with the tournament set to take place from the 21st of December 2025 until the 18th of January 2026 in Morocco. Ivory Coast conquered the trophy in 2023 in a thrilling final which saw Sebastian Haller net the winner to seal a 1-2 win over Nigeria. They will now enter the upcoming edition of the competition as defending champions.

The Equatorial Guinea Federation announced the suspension of Emilio Nsue and Iban Salbador for "indiscipline". Hours later, both players have explained their version of events, blaming the directors directly for internal conflicts and unfulfilled promises. Equatorial Guinea's Africa Cup of Nations has had two faces: the sporting one, in which the national team was able to reach the round of 16 after a great group stage, and the one it has shown beyond the field of play.
