1 Introduction Recent advancements in additive manufacturing (AM) of alloys have significantly impacted various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and marine sectors [1]. Various AM techniques have been developed for metals, including powder bed fusion, which typically uses a laser as the energy source (L-PBF), and directed energy deposition, which utilizes arc (Arc-DED, commonly known as wire arc additive manufacturing-WAAM) or laser (L-DED) to provide heat input.
