Field evaluation of spray drift exposure and phytotoxic effects on non-target crops from UAV and conventional sprayers
1 INTRODUCTION Pesticides remain indispensable for protecting crops from weeds, insects and diseases, and therefore play a vital role in sustaining agricultural productivity and global food security. However, pesticide applications rarely achieve complete on-target deposition because environmental conditions and application practices promote spray drift, the unintended movement of droplets beyond the treated area.
SNORD50A/B disassemble ASC-1 complex to silence NF-κB and boost PD-1 blockade in non-small-cell lung cancer
Abstract Small nucleolar RNA SNORD50A and SNORD50B (SNORD50A/B) have increasingly been linked to tumorigenesis due to their high frequency of deletion across multiple cancer types. However, their biological roles in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remain to be systematically investigated. In this study, we observed that SNORD50A/B were frequently deleted in lung adenocarcinomas, and this molecular event was strongly linked to poor patient survival.

Transformer winding deformation diagnosis method based on dynamic time warping and multilayer perceptron
1 Introduction As power systems continue to evolve toward higher voltages, larger capacities, and increased intelligence, power transformers, as the core equipment responsible for energy conversion and transmission, play a critical role in grid safety, stability, and supply reliability (Qi et al., 2020). Under short-circuit faults and external impacts, transformer windings are prone to mechanical and thermal stresses under short-circuit and uneven loss conditions (Xiaoling et al., 2023).

Evaluation of Spray Drift of Plant Protection Drone Nozzles Based on Wind Tunnel Test
Abstract : The use of drones in agriculture is expanding at a brisk pace in crop production due to the superiority in precision, efficiency, and safety of their applicators. However, their potential drift risk also raises concern for users and regulatory authorities. The method of wind tunnel research can effectively evaluate the weighted influence of each drift factor, especially the drift characteristics of the nozzle and spray solution.

Pentraxin-3 as a Predictive Marker of Mortality in Sepsis
Abstract and Introduction Abstract Background: The purpose of this study was to clarify the prognostic value of Pentraxin-3 (PTX3) on the mortality of patients with sepsis. Methods: Publications published up to January 2021 were retrieved from PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane library. Data from eligible cohort and case–control studies were extracted for the meta-analysis. Multivariate regression analysis was used to evaluate the correlation of the outcomes with sample size and male proportion.
Molecular basis for recognition of Gly/N-degrons by CRL2ZYG11B and CRL2ZER1
Highlights • Crystal structures of ZYG11B and ZER1 bound to various Gly/N-degrons are solved • ZYG11B and ZER1 use a deep and narrow cavity to engage Gly/N-degron • The first four residues of substrates are the key recognition elements • ZYG11B and ZER1 prefer bulky aromatic residues following the first glycine Summary N-degron pathways are a set of proteolytic systems that target the N-terminal destabilizing residues of substrates for proteasomal degradation.
pH-Triggered Nanoreactors as Oxidative Stress Amplifiers for Combating Multidrug-Resistant Biofilms
pH-Triggered Nanoreactors as Oxidative Stress Amplifiers for Combating Multidrug-Resistant Biofilms Developing radical oxygen species (ROS)-generating nanoreactors as new “antibiotics” is a promising strategy for the treatment of multidrug-resistant (MDR) biofilm infection. Herein, we designed and fabricated silver nanoparticle-decorated calcium peroxide (CaO2) nanoreactors (CPA) for combating MDR biofilms.
Sericin hydrogels promote skin wound healing with effective regeneration of hair follicles and sebaceous glands after complete loss of epidermis and dermis
Skin full-thickness injury affects millions of people each year worldwide. It often leads to scar formation and loss of appendages even after clinical treatment. The majority of wound dressings used so far could not achieve scarless skin regeneration with complete recovery of appendages, such as hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Functional regeneration of these skin appendages is of great challenge.
Technical Standardization of Laparoscopic Left Hemicolectomy - Video Vignette
Large multicentre trials have shown good safety profiles and low complication rates for laparoscopic management of left-sided colon cancer [1-3]. However, there are a wide range of options and variations in technique, which extend the learning curve of trainee surgeons. Here we provide a video to demonstrate a standardized operative technique simplified into ‘one plane, two points and three lines’ when applied to laparoscopic left hemicolectomy. Prognostic Significance of the Metabolic Marker Hexokinase-2 in Various Solid Tumors: A Meta-Analysis
Recently, numerous studies have reported that hexokinase-2 (HK2) is aberrantly expressed in cancer, indicating that HK2 plays a pivotal role in the development and progression of cancer. However, its prognostic significance in solid tumor remains unclear. Accordingly, we performed a meta-analysis to assess the prognostic value of HK2 in solid tumor. Eligible studies were identified using PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases.
