Serial Cross-Sectional Mapping of Bone Marrow Microenvironment Remodelling During Fracture Repair Using Multiparametric MRI and Histopathology
1 Introduction Mechanical bone injuries severely disrupt the bone marrow microenvironment (BMM), the primary ‘niche’ for skeletal regeneration (Marsell and Einhorn 2011; Einhorn and Gerstenfeld 2015; Bahney et al. 2019).
Knowledge structure, latent topics, and emerging trends in quercetin-immunity research from 2006 to 2025: a bibliometric and LDA topic-modeling analysis
Abstract Objective: Quercetin is a representative flavonol at the interface of natural-product pharmacology, nutrition, and immune regulation, with reported anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral, antiallergic, antitumor, and metabolic activities. This systematic mapping review aimed to characterize the publication trajectory, knowledge structure, latent themes, and emerging frontiers of quercetin-immunity research from 2006 to 2025.
Metabolomic dysregulation in the association between major depressive disorder and chronic pancreatitis: a large prospective cohort study
Abstract Background: Major depressive disorder (MDD) is increasingly recognized as a systemic condition accompanied by metabolic disturbances, particularly in lipid metabolism. However, whether MDD is associated with the development of chronic pancreatitis (CP), a chronic inflammatory disease with substantial metabolic and nutritional consequences, remains unclear.
Improved Inversion and Digital Mapping of Soil Organic Carbon Content by Combining Crop-Lush Period Vegetation Indices with Ensemble Learning: A Case Study in Liaoning, Northeast China
You are already at the latest version Soil organic carbon (SOC) is a crucial indicator of soil quality and carbon cycling. While remote sensing and machine learning enable regional scale SOC prediction, most studies rely on vegetation indices (VIs) derived from bare-soil periods, potentially neglecting vegetation–soil interactions during crop growth.
Divergent responses of carbon and nitrogen functional genes composition to enhanced rock weathering - Communications Earth & Environment
Abstract Enhanced rock weathering (ERW) is a scalable strategy for atmospheric carbon dioxide removal. The microbiome function critically regulates the below-ground cycle of carbon and nitrogen in terrestrial ecosystems. However, microbial functioning related to carbon and nitrogen under ERW remains elusive. Here we investigated how wollastonite addition affects key microbial carbon and nitrogen-cycles genes investigated using metagenomic, in a tropic rubber plantation.
Generation of alpaca‐derived nanobody fragments as potential insecticidal agents against Plutella xylostella via cadherin toxin binding region‐based screening
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) toxins are widely used in pest control owing to their effectiveness as bioinsecticides. However, the extensive use of these toxins has resulted in the development of resistance in various pest populations, including Plutella xylostella, which is a significant pest of cruciferous crops. This increasing resistance highlights the need for alternative insecticidal strategies that can complement or replace traditional methods.

Integrating microbial community properties, biomass and necromass to predict cropland soil organic carbon - ISME Communications
Abstract Manipulating microorganisms to increase soil organic carbon (SOC) in croplands remains a challenge. Soil microbes are important drivers of SOC sequestration, especially via their necromass accumulation. However, microbial parameters are rarely used to predict cropland SOC stocks, possibly due to uncertainties regarding the relationships between microbial carbon pools, community properties and SOC.
Preserved Ratio Impaired Spirometry and Risks of Macrovascular, Microvascular Complications and Mortality Among Individuals With Type 2 Diabetes.
The prospective associations of preserved ratio impaired spirometry (PRISm) with new-onset macrovascular and microvascular complications and mortality among individuals with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and whether PRISm enhances the prediction ability of an established office-based risk score remains to be elucidated. Can PRISm be used as a predictor of poor prognosis in individuals with T2D?
