(1,2) Nevertheless, its practical application is restrained by the mild oxidation ability (E0 = 1.51 V). (3,4) To address this limitation, various homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic strategies have been developed to enhance the performance of KMnO4 for emerging organic contaminants (EOCs) removal.
