Eternals is a Chloé Zhao movie about an undying group of super-beings that are sent to Earth to help shape human history and our civilizations. They live quietly among us, protecting us from evil creatures known as the Deviants. Eternals is a big swing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that they had not ever taken before, and though it may not be a home run, it is still trying to do something entirely different from every other entry.

A scrappy franchise that has been defined by its impressive directors who know how to stretch a budget, Evil Dead is one of the most important and influential horror franchises of all time. Obviously, the most important director in the franchise is the man who kicked it off in 1981. The man, the myth, the legend: Sam Raimi.

We all have our comfort movies, the movies that we return to in order to remind ourselves of simpler times or bring us up when we are feeling down. These movies are nothing like that, as they are often scary, violent, or downright depressing. Regardless of which, they are still infinitely rewatchable, as they are all either remarkably entertaining or deserve multiple viewings due to their complex narratives.
