I believe journalism is about how we relate to each other and expands what we know about about each other.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Entering the field, as all fields, can feel like warding off numerous gatekeepers. Stay honest to your goals and values, and keep working.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On my bike.
