Introduction Music has been an integral part of many people’s lives. It is often described as “the wine which inspires one to new generative processes” (Doyle and Furnham, 2012). In recent years, its role in cognition has attracted significant attention, but with mixed findings (de la Mora Velasco et al., 2023).
