5. Conclusions Climate change is altering flow regime characteristics and, as a result, the functioning of water systems in river basins. This study aims to examine climate change impact on the headwaters of the Euphrates River basin in Türkiye using hydrological modeling incorporating projected climatic variables. The Euphrates and Tigris River basins are under exceptional pressure due to deteriorating water supply conditions caused by climate change.
