In the Research Article “Initiator cell death event induced by SARS-CoV-2 in the human airway epithelium” by K. Liang et al., there were two figure errors. The SARS-CoV-2 N blot from Fig. 1G was mistakenly duplicated from the SARS-CoV-2 N blot in Fig. 5C. The images representing the uninfected A549-ACE2 in fig. Editor’s summary Obesity is a risk factor for the development of several types of cancer, but how obesity contributes to tumorigenesis remains incompletely understood. Using a mouse model of colon cancer, Bagchi et al. found that tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) accumulate and drive tumor growth in obese mice. Obesity-associated accumulation of oleic acid enhanced tumor acidity and suppressed TAM inflammatory responses.
