Abstract Iron limitation in calcareous soils restricts plant growth. Although Trichoderma species have been reported to enhance Fe availability by modulating rhizobacteria, the mechanisms remain unclear. Trichoderma brevicompactum TB2 inoculation in natural soil enhanced plant biomass and Fe nutrition compared to its inoculation in sterilized soil. The 16S rRNA sequencing revealed that TB2 restructured the microbial community.

Nicotine is a chemically defined and biologically active tobacco-related compound, yet its COPD-related molecular features remain unclear. This study aimed to identify nicotine-related transcriptomic signatures in COPD and explore their immune and single-cell relevance.

Abstract Objective: To summarize the clinical experience of a patient with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who achieved long-term survival after treatment with the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor nivolumab. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the case of a 78-year-old male patient diagnosed in April 2018 with right lung adenocarcinoma (cT4N3M1a, stage IV). The patient was driver-gene negative but had a high PD-L1 tumor proportion score (TPS of 90%).
