Abstract Background: Acute and chronic mountain sickness, resulting from maladaptation to high-altitude hypoxia, poses a great health concern. This study aimed to identify risk factors for heavy symptom-based clinical burden among high-altitude electrical workers. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 444 electrical workers stationed in the highlands of Sichuan, China, completed a symptom questionnaire and were classified as heavy (≥3 symptoms) or light (<3) clinical burden.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to compare the efficacy of acute and delayed thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) in patients with uncomplicated acute type B intramural hematoma (uTBIMH). We included patients with uTBIMH who underwent TEVAR between October 2014 and December 2021. The participants were divided into the acute (aTEVAR) and delayed TEVAR groups (dTEVAR).
