Metasurface-enabled high-gain circularly polarized antenna array for sensing in dust-laden environments
Abstract This work presents a millimetre-wave (mm-wave) antenna array designed for object detection in dust-laden environments. The proposed circularly polarized antenna structure consists of two substrate layers: the upper layer accommodates a 16-element radiating array, while the lower layer incorporates the feeding network. A single-port feeding configuration is employed, where input power is uniformly distributed across the array using a power divider.
Quad-port mm-wave MIMO antenna with a unified ground plane for 5G and beyond applications
Abstract In this paper, a four-element dual-band mm-wave multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna is proposed for the n258 and n260 5G bands. The antenna is made up of simple ring-shaped radiators, with a cross-shaped structure loaded into the ground surface to improve isolation and connect the ground planes.
Advanced receiver design for AF-FD cooperative schemes
Abstract This work investigates an amplify-and-forward full-duplex (AF-FD) relaying system that employs an intentional delay at the relay to enhance communication reliability in the presence of residual self-interference errors. The artificial delay emulates a convolutional coding structure, thereby introducing a diversity gain.
Letter: Lubiprostone Treatment for MASLD—Gender Imbalance and Blinding Considerations. Authors' Reply
We appreciate the comments of Drs. Li and Shen [1] on our recent study [2] investigating the effects of lubiprostone in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Their concerns regarding gender imbalance and blinding considerations provide an opportunity to further clarify our study design and findings. First, we acknowledge that our study population had a higher proportion of female participants, with 83% in the control group and 91% in the lubiprostone group.

Processes | Free Full-Text | Accelerating SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Development: Leveraging Novel Hybrid Deep Learning Models and Bioinformatics Analysis for Epitope Selection and Classification
Abstract : It is essential to use highly antigenic epitope areas, since the development of peptide vaccines heavily relies on the precise design of epitope regions that can elicit a strong immune response. Choosing epitope regions experimentally for the production of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine can be time-consuming, costly, and labor-intensive.
Sensors | Free Full-Text | SFBC Recognition over Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Schemes in the Presence of Inphase and Quadrature Phase Discrepancies for Cognitive Radio Applications
Abstract : A radio is adaptive if it can autonomously analyze the communications environment and instantly modify its settings to achieve the best possible efficiency. In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmissions, identifying the space frequency block coding (SFBC) category utilized is one of the most important tasks of an adaptive receiver.

IQM Mitigation Algorithm with Channel Awareness for Upstream SC-FDMA Systems in the Context of Dual-Hop Broadcasts
Abstract : A challenging issue for single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) transmissions is in-phase and quadrature-phase mismatch (IQM). There has been prior reporting on this issue; however, it has always been in the setting of single-hop broadcasts. This study explored the problem of IQM in multiple users upstream SC-FDMA networks within the framework of amplify-and-forward (AF) dual-hop transmissions.
