The Dutch financial markets regulator (AFM) has imposed a penalty of €625,000 ($715,396) on an investment company director for alleged artificial price inflation and market manipulation. The penalty was levied in connection with failings that took place between October 2024 and August 2025.

The UK’s financial regulators are now directly in charge of overseeing some of the major cloud services providers in the country after they were designated as critical third-parties (CTPs) by the Treasury last week.
