ALPINE — The Alpine Volunteer Fire Department is moving forward with plans to construct a second fire station that will improve emergency response times, enhance fire protection services, and potentially lower homeowners' insurance rates for many residents within the district. PEARL—Thursday, June 11, Chief Whiteside said Lieutenant Hunter Burke from the New Albany Fire Department graduated from Fire Service Management 101, a specialized course designed to tackle the unique challenges faced by fire officers.
