(WJHL) – The summer sky continues to shine bright. In fact, June’s full moon, the Strawberry Moon, just made its appearance on Monday. The full moon gets its name from the fact that it arrives during a peak in wild strawberry harvesting season. Moving forward, the rest of the week the moon will continue to dim and give us better viewing conditions. Wednesday, the big summer triangle appears high above the moon. The triangle’s brightest and highest star is Vega.
