Despite Destiny’s Child announcing their disbandment, the culture was thriving and making its mark on society through music, art, and sports, to name a few genres. Even basketball star, Allen Iverson, of the Philadelphia 76ers, was leaving his own mark on society.

The 76ers used every last second of Wednesday evening’s game to pull off a 122-120 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Philadelphia. With just seconds remaining, Corey Brewer took the line. The score was 121-120. First free throw...miss. Second free throw...connect. At this point, with 1.1 seconds remaining, the game could have gone one of two ways.
