Hannah Vickers’s Biography

I'm a freelance journalist and fiction writer. I was a reporter, media coordinator, commissioning editor and online production editor for the Bristol Cable 2018-2022 and still proofread their quarterly print edition.

I'm currently mostly focused on fiction writing and only do reporting on stories that really get my interest or that I feel need to be reported on and aren't being. If you've got a commission or story you think I'll be interested in, please get in touch: hannahrosemaryvickers@gmail.com, 07709298989 (I'm also on signal and telegram).

Bylines include The Guardian, The Independent, New Internationalist and The Bristol Cable. I've also been a volunteer newsreader on BCfm's breakfast show, the One Love Breakfast.

In my fiction, I regularly do feedback exchanges with other writers and am often praised on my detailed and insightful feedback. I'm a good sub-editor and proofreader, and am generally up for one-off or regular work in that area.

My full CV and references are available on request.
