Shawn McKay, CEO and founder of Layer Line 3D, was intrigued with 3D printed homes about two and a half years ago. After roughly half a year of research, he decided to purchase the equipment needed to build homes. Now, after a year and a half of figuring out building plans for a 3D printed home, there will soon be one residing in Ontario.

ONTARIO — Malheur Turnkey is getting the ball rolling with its grand opening this Friday. On Jan. 12, Housing Authority officials will be hosting the grand opening of Malheur Turnkey offering food to those who attend and the chance to view what the units look like.
