Ten top level tech house jams from Michael Bibi and PAWSA’s Solid Grooves label, kicking off with Bibi’s ‘Let’s Get High’, a characteristically lean SG cut trimmed right to the bone — pure elemental beats and bass, with just a tiny flute-ish lead and vocal sample as decoration. PAWSA’s ‘Ride On Me’ continues this economic approach with clipped, tight drum machine beats driving a few carefully chosen and precisely trimmed musical elements.

At seven tracks long, this elongated EP from Demjua nearly qualifies as a mini album. Made up of tracks made at different times over the last few years, there’s some real gold in here. ‘Say No More’ is a strong deep/tech house hybrid that growls along very nicely with its superbly rattling drum track, simple sub-bass line, and muted, sustained warm pads generating some real tension.
