Members of the Eastern Highlands Adventist Students Association (EHASA) at Pacific Adventist University (PAU) visited more than 100 Indonesian prisoners at Bomana Prison in Papua New Guinea on September 5. This is the second time the students have visited the group who, according to the prison chaplain, have received little outside support since arriving at Bomana. Many have been unable to stay in touch with their wives, children and families in Indonesia.

More than 100 Adventist students from seven schools across Port Moresby took time away from their academic commitments to attend a weekend camp organised by the Port Moresby Central Adventist Students Association (Pom CASA) in Central Province from April 17 to 19. Pom CASA, representing the Moresby South and East zones, organised the camp at Seme Seventh-day Adventist Church, themed “God’s Final Knock”.

In a heartwarming act of compassion, a nine-year-old boy named Ricksey has touched the hearts of my missionary family originally from Okapa, Eastern Highlands Province. I received an unexpected but deeply moving gift on the evening of July 28, 2025. Around 7pm, young Ricksey, who lost his mother a year ago and lives with his father and six siblings, quietly visited my family and brought three pieces of firewood. Early the next morning, at around 9am, he returned with two more pieces.
