Abstract Radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMFs) are integral to wireless communication systems, and their potential biological impacts on non-target organisms, such as mosquitoes, remain poorly understood. This study aimed to investigate the effects of RF exposure on the structural and morphological characteristics of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus eggs, two major vectors of dengue and other arboviral diseases, under controlled experimental conditions.

Abstract This study aims to investigate the efficacy of area-wide management (AWM) approach on a large scale implemented in a tropical region against subterranean termite infestations. This AWM was carried out using a slow acting Chitin Synthesis Inhibitor (CSI), chlorfluazuron, as bait in the study area. A total of 11,511 in-ground stations were employed to intercept outdoor termite activities and 40 indoor above-ground stations were installed on infested structures in the study area.

Abstract Non-invasive monitoring of small mammal populations is critical for both biodiversity conservation and integrated pest management, particularly in agroecosystems. Barn owl (Tyto alba) pellet analysis has long served as a valuable tool for inferring prey abundance, yet conventional bone classification is labour-intensive and requires specialized expertise.
