Design and fabrication of the hybrid quantum photonic source The design of the laser-integrated hybrid photonic source is shown schematically in Fig. 1a. It includes a III–V RSOA, hybrid-integrated with a Si3N4-based feedback circuit. The RSOA and feedback chip are end-butt-coupled using adhesive bonding such that the III–V waveguide and the Si3N4 waveguide are in the same plane.
