Results for the quarterly Gallup workforce studies are based on self-administered web surveys conducted via the Gallup Panel™. Q1 2024 surveys were conducted Feb. 6-16, 2024, with a random sample of 19,846 working adults, aged 18 and older, who are members of the Gallup Panel. For results based on this sample, the margin of sampling error is ±1.0 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.

Results for this Gallup poll are based on self-administered web surveys conducted each quarter. Q3 2023 surveys were conducted Aug. 9-24, 2023, with a random sample of 18,665 adults who are aged 18 and older, working full time or part time for organizations in the United States, and members of the Gallup Panel. For results based on this sample, the margin of sampling error is ±1.1 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.

2019 Gallup Workforce Study: Combining survey responses from 14,174 full-time employees (excluding self-employed) conducted between January-December 2019. Margin of error was ±1 percentage point. Results based on the total sample of managers are from the Agility 2019 Study conducted from May 16-30, 2019, the margin of sampling error is ±6 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
