Jesus Is Not Ashamed of Those with an Embarrassing Past: The Story of Tamar
Universal Experience Embarrassment is something that we can all relate to, right? Who hasn't been embarrassed? We might not want to tell the story of when we've been embarrassed, but we've all had that experience—whether it's on a small level like a slip on the ice or a trip in an airport or something like that. It could be something on a larger level that might haunt you in the night as you think about something you did or something that someone did to you.
Jesus Is Not Ashamed of Those Who Still Sin: The Story of Peter
The Burden of Guilt As Christians, we feel the burden of our sin and our guilt. And sometimes, if we're honest, we feel and act a lot like Adam and Eve in the garden. We want to hide from God. The same week, General Motors, an automotive industry icon, pledged to stop manufacturing gas-powered passenger vehicles by 2035. Meanwhile, other Fortune 500 companies, including J.B. Hunt Transport Services, are continuing to make renewable-focused investments.
Solar: Powering the Economy (Heather Nelson Commentary)
2020 will be remembered as the year of shattered records, both good and bad. Since reporting the first confirmed cases of the coronavirus in March, the U.S. has remained at the top of the charts for its COVID-19 infection rates. At the same time, our country has experienced economic ups and downs, with high unemployment offset by a steadily climbing stock market and unprecedented growth in certain sectors, including renewable energy. Constitutional Challenges to State Actions in Response to COVID-19 | JD Supra
State government actions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic—from closing businesses and limiting travel to lifting those restrictions—raise potential constitutional questions. Federal lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of state orders are cropping up around the nation. These challenges are distinct from any remedies that might exist under state law (including state constitutions) or federal statutes (including preemption).
