CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Officers are on the scene of a shots fired investigation in Champaign Monday afternoon. Just after 2 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 4th Street and Beardsley Avenue. A WCIA reporter on the scene confirmed with an official from the Champaign Police Department that officers are actively searching the area for evidence, and the investigation is ongoing. They added that no one was hurt.

McKinley Avenue and Paula Drive around 9:30 p.m. The investigation indicates that the two victims were walking in the area, when two suspects shot at them.
