The Winona County Primary Prevention Project – Stop Sexual and Domestic Violence is changing the theme of its annual youth art contest from Hands Are For… to A Safe Family… to raise awareness about child abuse prevention. The organization is again collaborating with WNB Financial and the Family and Children Center to host the youth art contest.

The Winona County Primary Prevention Project has exciting news. Students can design and share an art project with the positive message “Hands are For” and win a $50 gift card from WNB Financial. To raise awareness on child abuse prevention, WCPPP is collaborating with WNB Financial and Family and Children Center to host a youth art contest.

The Winona County Sexual and Domestic Violence Primary Prevention Project began in 2008 through the efforts of local citizens, health and human services, educational, judicial services, professionals and their agencies to develop community strategies to prevent sexual and domestic violence. The mission of this project is primary prevention of sexual and domestic violence by providing education and changing cultural norms. The goal is to ensure our communities are safer for everyone.
