Rep. Buck is in the pocket of the NRA You get what you pay for. The NRA bought Rep. Ken Buck, R.-Colo., and he's delivering. The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 was before his committee in the House. The bill would require each state to recognize concealed carry permits from every other state, regardless of different permitting standards. Residents of states that don't require permits to carry a concealed weapon would be able to carry their weapons in other states that allow concealed carry.
Gun violence kills more than 90 Americans per day and injures hundreds more. About 33,000 die every year. That's why June 2, on National Gun Violence Awareness Day, Americans across the country will wear orange, a color that demands to be seen, to send the powerful message there is more we can do to end gun violence. We must continue to pressure lawmakers to improve our gun laws. We must raise awareness about gun violence.
