Community seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 in children and adolescents in England, 2019-2021
Discussion Here we report results of a community-based study recruiting a representative cohort of the paediatric population in England from the start of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, with extensive characterisation of demography and potential COVID-19 symptoms. This provides a unique assessment of the prevalence and risk factors for naturally acquired antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus in children and adolescents prior to introduction of widescale immunisation.
