Uneven automation: comparing authorship anxiety and generative AI use among art and design undergraduate students
Abstract Art and design education expects students to develop a sense of authorship over original work, but generative AI (GenAI) complicates how students understand and claim that authorship. This study examined whether these experiences differ across creative fields through a mixed-methods design.

NB-Net: A Biologically-Inspired Framework for Neural Network Width Expansion
Deep learning has achieved remarkable success across various fields; however, most architectural studies still emphasize depth expansion more than systematic width exploration. Inspired by the divergent-convergent organization observed in biological neurons, we investigate whether a width-first multi-branch design can improve representation quality without relying on very deep backbones.
An expert-informed framework of school conditions potentially supporting adolescent physical activity habits: a three-stage consultation in China
Abstract Background: Schools can provide conditions that may support repeated physical activity, but expert endorsement of those conditions does not demonstrate habit formation. This study developed an expert-informed content framework for Chinese adolescents aged 12–18 years. Methods: A three-stage, Delphi-informed consultation comprised qualitative elicitation and item development, one full quantitative rating stage, and targeted review of proposed final decisions.

Largely enhanced bulk photovoltaic effects in a two-dimensional MoSi2N4 monolayer photodetector by vacancy-doping and bending-increased device asymmetry† Two-dimensional MoSi2N4 monolayer semiconductors have garnered significant research attention for ultraviolet (UV) photodetection due to their outstanding performance, including ultrafast response, high responsivity, and low dark current.
The relationship between parental phubbing and social anxiety in emerging adulthood students: a serial mediation model - BMC Psychology
In this study, we use a serial mediation model to explain our research hypothesis. The results suggest that parental phubbing can not only directly predict social anxiety, but also influence social anxiety through shyness and fear of negative evaluation. The higher the level of parental phubbing, the greater the probability of shyness, and shyness further promotes fear of negative evaluation, thus increasing the risk of social anxiety.

Recent advances in bifunctional carbon-based single-atom electrocatalysts for rechargeable zinc–air batteries Rechargeable zinc–air batteries (R-ZABs) have substantial potential for future large-scale applications owing to their sustainability, intrinsic safety, and high energy density. However, R-ZABs still lag behind the remarkable success of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) to date.
Defect management and crystallization regulation for high-efficiency carbon-based printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells via a single organic small molecule
Defect management and crystallization regulation for high-efficiency carbon-based printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells via a single organic small molecule† High-quality perovskite films are crucial for achieving efficient carbon-based printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells (MPSCs). However, rapid crystallization leads to poor film quality and the formation of defects, resulting in severe non-radiative recombination that hinders the improvement of device performance.
Antisymmetry-breaking-coupling--enhanced sensing of quantum reservoirs
We investigate the use of a single generalized dephasing qubit for sensing a quantum reservoir, where the antisymmetry of the coupling between the qubit and its reservoir is broken. Our results indicate that, in addition to the decay factor encoding channel, the antisymmetry breaking coupling introduces another phase factor encoding channel.

Manipulation of Cs0.1FA0.9PbI3 crystallization behavior towards efficient carbon-based printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells† Carbon-based printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells (MPSCs) have attracted significant attention due to their excellent stability and low manufacturing cost. However, the filling and crystallization behavior of perovskite are difficult to finely manipulate due to the confined space of triple-mesoporous layers.

Effects of physical activity in child and adolescent depression and anxiety: role of inflammatory cytokines and stress-related peptide hormones
1. Introduction Depression and anxiety are the most common mental health conditions affecting adolescents and is recognized as a disorder with a more significant burden worldwide than ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, and tuberculosis (Adam et al., 2010; Vrshek-Schallhorn et al., 2013).
Quantum sensing of temperature close to absolute zero in a Bose-Einstein condensate
Abstract We propose a theoretical scheme for quantum sensing of temperature close to absolute zero in a quasi-one-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC). In our scheme, a single-atom impurity qubit is used as a temperature sensor. We investigate the sensitivity of the single-atom sensor in estimating the temperature of the BEC. We demonstrate that the sensitivity of the temperature sensor can saturate the quantum Cramér-Rao bound by means of measuring quantum coherence of the probe qubit.
Acute effects of exergaming on young adults’ energy expenditure, enjoyment, and self-efficacy
1. Introduction Physical inactivity and sedentary behavior can have a severe negative impact on adults. It can increase the risk for heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer (Santos-Lozano et al., 2021; Sheng et al., 2021; Xiao and Rosenzweig, 2021; Zhu, 2022). It can also lead to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem (Gao and Lee, 2022).

Revisiting vortex generation in the spin-orbit interactions of refraction and focusing of light
Abstract The generation of vortices in the focusing of circularly polarized light beams results from the spin-orbit interaction (SOI), which is very similar to the generation of vortices when a light beam normally passes through an optically thin slab. However, its physical origin and the intrinsic relationship between both systems are still not well elucidated. Here, we establish a unified full-wave theory to revisit this problem.
