I started playing poker tournaments almost ten years ago against passive small stakes players who were fairly easy to beat. If I didn’t see half of the players coming in for an open limp in a third of the hands, I was at a tougher than average table for the player pool. As I began to have success and move up in stakes, I saw fewer and fewer of these passive players. But even at the highest stakes offered on my favorite unregulated site, the players were mostly still making big mistakes.
