What was your first job as a journalist?

Freelance writer for the dearly departed film/music website, Stylus Magazine.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yeah but just as a goof when I was a kid.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Trevor Newsworthy, Fresh Prince of Bel Air

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Educating people about the community/country/world in which they live.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

No preference. Email/Twitter/phone/text/etc

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

ProTools, Photoshop, Word are the big ones. Occasionally Final Cut.
