Abstract The recurrent emergence of the F456L substitution in SARS-CoV-2 Omicron sublineages has been associated with immune evasion, yet its impact on vaccine-induced immune responses remains poorly understood. Using a trimeric RBD-HR subunit vaccine platform, we investigated how residue 456 influences the functional immunogenicity of the receptor-binding domain (RBD).
Abstract Objective: To examine the cross-sectional association between the triglyceride–glucose (TyG) index and the severity of lower extremity arterial disease (LEAD) in hospitalized patients with angiographically confirmed LEAD, to test whether this association differs across Glucose Metabolic States, and to quantify the ability of the TyG index to discriminate prevalent ischemic tissue loss (Rutherford grades 5–6).
Abstract Protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMTs) constitute a family of nine enzymes that catalyze the post-translational methylation of arginine residues on histone and non-histone proteins. This epigenetic modification regulates diverse cellular processes including gene transcription, RNA splicing, signal transduction, and protein-protein interactions.
