Social good can be understood as approaches to addressing social problems or creating value for society. The majority of studies on innovation for social good are qualitative and focus on the European context. Both for-profit and non-profit organizations are involved in managing innovation for social good; the emerging focus on hybrid organizations and networks may represent a way forward.

INTRODUCTION Adopting digital technologies is becoming necessary for most organizations (Dąbrowska et al., 2022). This trend impacts multiple organizational activities, such as creating new opportunities and initiatives for digital innovation (Nambisan et al., 2019), smart manufacturing (Frank et al., 2019) and digital marketing (Day & Schoemaker, 2016).
