What was your first job as a journalist?

Stats guy at the age of 14 at WEST-AM radio in Easton, PA.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, but a long time ago!

How is social media changing news?

If makes it better to get the information faster, but it is also bad because many don't check facts first.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It's a passion of mine to tell the story of America through high school sports. I'm one of the luckiest people in the country.

Why did you become a journalist?

Because telling stories is in my heart and soul.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The Pink Arrow Pride high school football game in Lowell, Michigan.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't be afraid to work on something for free...it will come back to you.
