Water droplets were formed by simply spraying a water mist on a superhydrophobic surface, showing the static, advancing, and receding water contact angles were 152.0° ± 0.9° (unless otherwise stated, the values represent the mean ± S.D. of six independent measurements), 154.1° ± 0.6°, and 150.2° ± 0.8°, respectively, mimicking the Lotus Effect that occurs after rain falls on a lotus leaf.
