Multi-Subunit Engineering of Photorespiratory Glycine Decarboxylase Refines Photosynthesis, Growth and Metabolic Robustness of Arabidopsis
1 Introduction Photorespiration is indispensable for oxygenic photosynthesis, safeguarding efficient CO2 assimilation and carbon utilization by preventing negative metabolic feedback originating from Rubisco's oxygenation reaction and the accumulation of its major by-product, 2-phosphoglycolate (2PG) (reviewed in Fernie and Bauwe 2020).
Pre-incision versus pre-closure intravenous tegileridine for analgesia after laparoscopic cholecystectomy: a randomized, double-blind, three-arm trial
Abstract Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is frequently associated with clinically relevant early postoperative pain, including incisional pain, visceral pain, and post-laparoscopic shoulder pain, which may impair postoperative recovery. Tegileridine is a novel G protein-biased µ-opioid receptor agonist with analgesic potential.
Temporal upregulation of TREM2 parallel to M2 macrophage marker expression in tuberculosis: implications for macrophage polarization regulation
Abstract Background: This study aims to explore the association between Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 2 (TREM2) expression and tuberculosis pathogenesis, with particular focus on its potential correlation with established macrophage polarization markers. Methods: The inflammatory pathology of lung tissues in mock-infected mice was evaluated using hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining.

Case Report: Intracranial epidermoid cyst accompanied by bone hyperplasia forming a bone encapsulation
Abstract Intracranial epidermoid cysts are not true neoplasms; rather, they represent congenital benign lesions characterized by the presence of stratified squamous epithelium, commonly referred to as pearl tumors or cholesteatomas. These cysts exhibit slow growth within the cranial cavity, primarily manifesting as compressive changes and rarely inducing adjacent hyperostosis.
Guard cell‐specific glycine decarboxylase manipulation affects Arabidopsis photosynthesis, growth and stomatal behavior
Introduction To enable the biosynthesis of organic compounds, CO2 must enter the intracellular air space of leaves and ultimately reach the chloroplasts and site of carbon fixation. This gas exchange is facilitated by stomata, which evolved more than 400 million years ago (Edwards et al., 1992, 1998).

Guard cell photorespiration has a major impact on photosynthesis, growth and stomatal behavior in Arabidopsis
Abstract Photorespiration is a mandatory metabolic repair shunt of carbon fixation by the Calvin-Benson (CB) cycle in oxygenic phototrophs. Its extent depends mainly on the CO2/O2 ratio in chloroplasts, which is regulated via stomatal movements. However, despite comprehensive understanding on the role of photorespiration in mesophyll cells (MC), its role in guard cells (GC) is yet unknown.
Global Change Biology | Environmental Change Journal | Wiley Online Library
The world population is projected to continuously grow to approximately 9.5 billion by the year 2050. Combined with advancing climate change, this increase is likely to exacerbate global food insecurity. The problem is further intensified by shifting dietary demands and the rising use of key crops for biofuel production (WHO 2023).

Fire Accident Risk Analysis of Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems during Maritime Transportation
1. Introduction In order to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, the use of renewable energy has received more and more attention. Wind and solar power generation are the main ways of renewable energy utilization, and according to statistics, the power generation of both accounted for 10% of the total global power generation in 2021 []. Solar and wind power generation have inherent defects of intermittent power generation.

Forecast Global Ionospheric TEC: Apply Modified U‐Net on VISTA TEC Data Set
1 Introduction The total electron content (TEC) is the total number of electrons in the ionosphere integrated along the path between a radio transmitter and a receiver. It can be derived from the differential delays of multiple transmitted frequencies from the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) satellites (e.g., Mannucci et al., 1998).

Complete Global Total Electron Content Map Dataset based on a Video Imputation Algorithm VISTA - Scientific Data
Abstract Ionospheric total electron content (TEC) derived from multi-frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals and the relevant products have become one of the most utilized parameters in the space weather and ionospheric research community. However, there are a couple of challenges in using the global TEC map data including large data gaps over oceans and the potential of losing meso-scale ionospheric structures when applying traditional reconstruction and smoothing algorithms.
