INTRODUCTION In unconventional oil and gas exploration, microseismic technology is widely used to help monitor the fracturing process as well as describe the fractured reservoir and reservoir characterization (Duncan & Eisner, 2010; Grechka & Yaskevich, 2013; Pearson, 1981). However, field microseismic data are generally corrupted by the formation factors, such as the surrounding environment of wells and various noise interference, which end up with much lower signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
