4. Results and Discussion 4.1. Work Zone Overview The Ordos Basin is located at the junction of Shanxi, Gansu, and Ningxia, with its reservoir structure belonging to the combination of the east–west structures and part of the Paleozoic of the North China Basin. The study area (a shale oil reservoir of Chang 7 in the Ordos Basin) shown in Figure 7 is located in the secondary structural unit of the Yishan Slope, which is in the southwest of the Ordos Basin.
