Multi-scale predictive modeling of phenology and carotenoid content in carrots using spectral techniques, colorimetry, and artificial intelligence
The results of this study validate the hypothesis that the integration of spectral and colorimetric techniques with artificial intelligence models enables the non-destructive estimation of carotenoid content, physicochemical and phenological parameters, and high-accuracy classification of damage in carrots.
Simpler predictive models provide higher accuracy for ovarian cancer detection
Our findings largely align with those of the DELFI-Pro authors regarding the predictive utility of the proteins studied. While CA125 and HE4 concentrations are individually valuable biomarkers, their predictive power increases when combined within a machine learning model. We extended the analysis beyond that of the DELFI-Pro publication to specifically evaluate and thoroughly report the performance of these two proteins independently of any cfDNA-associated features.
Optimizing legume green manure applications for enhanced forage sorghum-sudangrass performance and soil property improvements

TaGra: an open Python package for easily generating graphs from data tables through manifold learning
High-dimensional data is pervasive across scientific disciplines, particularly in pattern recognition and machine learning (for example, Giraud, 2021, section 1.1). Such high-dimensional spaces often present a dual challenge: they contain substantial noise and redundant information while making it difficult to meaningfully visualize complex relationships between data points (Altman & Krzywinski, 2018).
Cloud-based real-time enhancement for disease prediction using Confluent Cloud, Apache Kafka, feature optimization, and explainable artificial intelligence
Chronic kidney disease (CKD), characterized by the kidneys’ inability to remove waste and fluids while maintaining essential blood balances, poses severe health risks due to the accumulation of debris and fluids in the body (Romagnani et al., 2017; Stenvinkel, 2010). This condition affects electrical balance, hormone secretion, and blood pressure regulation.

Climate change effect on the widely distributed Palearctic plant bug species (Insecta: Heteroptera: Miridae)
Species identification. The study was based on the collection preserved at the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ZISP), hosting ca. 700 specimens of Liocoris tripustulatus, ca. 1,000 specimens of Lygocoris pabulinus, and ca. 320 specimens of Lygus punctatus. The collection event data was entered into the Arthropod Easy Capture Database (https://research.amnh.org/pbi/locality/index.php).

Gene synthesis design: a pythonic approach
Gene cloning is necessary for the investigation of protein structure and function. Normally, the target gene is amplified with PCR from the template. The prokaryotic genes can be obtained by using the genome as a template, while in the case of a eukaryotic gene, researchers extract RNA, which is then reverse-transcribed to cDNA that serves as the template for target gene amplification.

Metagenomic binning of PacBio HiFi data prior to assembly reveals a complete genome of Cosmopolites sordidus (Germar) (Coleopterea: Curculionidae, Dryophthorinae) the most damaging arthropod pest of bananas and plantains
The results from the HiFi read assembly via hifiasm for pre-and post-metagenomic binning indicate a C. sordidus genome assembly is that both are high quality in terms of length and completeness. The summary statistics evidence the quality of the assemblies, BUSCO scores both in genome and protein mode, and a number of orthologous genes with the other genomes examined. Both genome assemblies would be very useful in terms of identifying candidate genes for exploring functional genomics.

Microwave assisted synthesis of bismuth titanate nanosheets and its photocatalytic effects
Results The fine powdered samples were characterized for crystalline nature using XRD and the patterns were search-matched using the Full Profile Search Match (FPSM) tool (Lutterotti et al., 2019; Lutterotti, 2012). Refining was done using the Maud package (Lutterotti et al., 2007). The XRD pattern of the samples A, B and C are depicted in Fig. 1.
