Why did you become a journalist?

I became a journalist in order to bring awareness, empowerment and change to those involved in human rights issues.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes - The Collegian at Asbury University. Mainly I was the Features Editor, but I also wrote some articles.

What's your favorite drink?

Masala chai!

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

I love National Geographic! My dorm room walls were full of its torn out pages.
