1 Introduction With advances in surgical and adjuvant therapies, an increasing number of colon cancer patients now live well beyond their initial diagnosis, bringing survivorship and post-treatment quality of life to the forefront of oncology care [1].

1 Introduction Sleep disturbance is among the most commonly reported symptoms in cancer populations and represents a major contributor to impaired quality of life (QoL). It often emerges at the time of diagnosis and persists throughout the course of the disease [1, 2]. Poor sleep quality (PSQ), insomnia symptoms, and nocturnal awakenings have been frequently reported even at the time of cancer diagnosis, prior to initiation of oncological treatment [3, 4].
