Apply for the RGD Mentorship Program to be paired up with a Mentor who can help you prepare to enter the professional design industry. Fill out an application by January 26, 2026. On the form, you will be asked to select your top 3 choices from a list of mentors. This program is only open to Student and Associate RGDs. The Structure of the Program You will have 3–4 sessions with your Mentor, 1 hour each between February to July. Sessions will be virtual.

The RGD has released a new No Spec email template to support designers in responding to organizations that request unpaid or speculative design work. Spec work—whether in the form of contests, design competitions, RFP submissions without payment or job application assignments—continues to appear across the industry despite being widely condemned as an unethical business practice that devalues the design profession.
