Ian joined Chef Publishing in October 2022 as its first dedicated drinks editor, and will focus on developing wine, spirits and sommelier-related content. He has an in-depth knowledge of food and drink, and is a passionate advocate for the hospitality industry.

Ian is a former neuroscientist and Cabinet Office civil servant. After a successful career in Whitehall, where he held senior roles in foreign affairs, communications, public relations and digital, he decided to fulfil a lifelong ambitio…
