Introduction TiC and TiN inclusion can be formed in the Ti bearing steel in the solidification process (Cavazos et al., 2011; Leban and Tisu, 2013), which can increase the strength of the final products, as the steel’s secondary phase (Huang et al., 2018). During the initial solidification period, the heterogeneous nucleation of delta ferrite could formed on the TiN inclusions and then the equiaxed fine-grained structure was generated (Fujimura et al., 2001).
