Imran Muzaffar

Imran Muzaffar is an academic and journalist based in Delhi, India.

He has taught at the University of Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia while having earned his PhD from the Centre for Culture, Media and Governance, Jamia Millia Islamia.

His academic publications have appeared in various refereed international journals. He also served as peer reviewer for multiple journals and has acted as dissertation supervisor at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia.

Imran is a recipient of 2023 Journalismfund Europe investigation grant for environmental journalism and 2013 International Committee of the Red Cross-Press Institute of India award for his reportage on underreported issues from Kashmir’s armed conflict.
