My Red Apple Story

by | Aug 17, 2022 | Health Care, Ines Dahne-Steuber Many years ago, my boss at the time handed me a red wooden apple upon his return from a service trip to Haiti. “This will be very important for you one day,” he said as he handed me the apple. I didn’t think much of it but I always kept the apple in my kitchen. That all changed on January 12, 2010, when a 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, causing severe destruction in an already-struggling country.
