For those who worried about the couple Francis married on a plane and their preparation for the sacrament, he told us “that the pope questioned them well, they told me they had done the course, and they were aware that they were in an irregular situation.” 
Francis defended his decision to perform an airborne wedding while flying over Chile, saying the two flight attendants were properly prepared for the sacrament and that refusing them might have meant they'd never get around to being married in the Church 
Speaking about the Peruvian movement Sodalitium Christianae Vitae, whose founder was found guilty of sexual abuse, Francis said that even though he’s not fully informed of the details of the case, “things are very unfavorable for the founder.” 
Francis said he knows how much victims of clerical sexual abuse suffer, and he acknowledged that “to feel that the pope tells them to their face, ‘give me a letter with the proof,’” came off as “a slap in the face.”
