In this RCT, cognitive function in preschool children after intake of fatty fish or meat was examined. The main analyses revealed no differences in general cognitive function measured by WPPSI-III between the fish and meat groups. For the 9-HPT measure of fine-motor coordination, the fish group improved slightly more compared to the meat group for the non-dominant hand, but not for the dominant hand.
